What is NineMo?

NineMo is a pregnancy organizer, not a feed and not a diagnosis. It keeps a private log of how you feel, turns it into questions and a one-page summary for your appointments, holds your checklists, and lets you share chosen parts with a partner. It is local-first: the encrypted database on your phone is the source of truth.

How it works

From first log to a prepared visit, in three steps

Set up takes a few minutes. No account, no forms, nothing uploaded.

  1. 1

Set your due date, start as a guest

Enter the due date directly, from the first day of your last period, or from an IVF transfer date. Change it later to match what your clinician tells you. No account, no sign-up: NineMo starts on your phone and stays there.

  2. 2

Log in seconds, in your own words

Symptoms, mood, sleep, weight and water, plus the medication and supplement reminders you set yourself. Anything you log can become a question for your next visit with one tap.

  3. 3

    Walk into the visit prepared

NineMo turns what you logged since the last visit into an editable summary with your saved questions. Review it, then share it as a PDF through your phone’s share sheet, or not at all.

Features

Everything for the nine months, nothing that gets in the way

Today

Your week, your next visit and your reminders on one calm screen

Today shows where you are, in weeks and days, your due date and trimester, the next appointment with the questions you have saved for it, and today’s reminders. A one-tap mood check-in stays private, always. Reorder or hide cards so Today shows what matters to you.

  • Weekly cards are labeled as general estimates: every baby grows at their own pace
  • “Prepare for this visit” takes you straight to its questions
  • Mark a medication taken or count a glass of water from the card
  • A truthful footer: “No ads · stored on this device · you control sharing”
NineMo Today screen with Today’s reminders, a This week task, the NineMo Plus card and the footer No ads, stored on this device, you control sharing

Quick log

Three taps from noticing something to having it written down

Symptom, mood, sleep, weight, hydration: each is a tile on the Track tab and a few taps to save. A symptom gets a time, an optional mild, moderate or severe note and your own words. NineMo never interprets what you log. No scores, no ranges, no labels. Just a clear record of what you noticed.

  • “Add to questions for my next visit” on any entry
  • Charts count your own entries by day, nothing more
  • Medication and supplement reminders with the name as written on your label
  • Edit or delete any entry later

Visits and questions

Saved questions and a one-page summary, ready for your appointment

Keep each appointment with its date, clinician and place. Save questions as they come to you, reorder them, and mark them discussed with the answer you were given. Before a visit, NineMo builds a summary of what you logged since the last one: counts of days and entries, your questions, your medications. Edit it, then export a PDF.

  • The summary is built on your phone and works offline
  • Choose the date range and which categories go in; exclude any single entry
  • The PDF says what it is: “Self-reported log. Not a medical record or assessment.”
  • Nothing leaves your phone until you choose where to send it

Plan

Checklists for the weeks ahead, the hospital bag and the home

Plan starts with suggested lists for this week, upcoming appointments, the hospital bag, birth preferences and home and baby prep. Every item can be edited, moved or removed, and you can add your own checklists. Suggested timings are flexible; the lists contain no medical instructions.

  • Due dates, “when ready” or no date at all, with a reminder the morning it is due
  • Assign a task to your partner once you share
  • A birth preferences note you can keep private or share
  • Removed suggestions can be added back any time
NineMo Plan screen with birth preferences tasks and a Home and baby prep checklist: pack the hospital bag, get a car seat, arrange transportation to the hospital

Partner sharing

Share what you choose, end-to-end encrypted

Invite one partner with a link or a typed code and decide by category what they see: weekly updates, appointments, tasks and shared notes. Symptoms, mood, journal entries and photos are always private and cannot be shared as a category. You see a preview that is exactly their view before anything goes out, and you can stop sharing at any time, immediately, with no notice sent to them.

  • Shared items are end-to-end encrypted; the server never sees them in the clear
  • Invites are single-use, work for 7 days and can be withdrawn
  • Your partner can tick off shared tasks and accept the ones you assign
  • With NineMo Plus, up to 3 more support people with their own settings

When things change

Pause, or record a loss, and every celebratory message stops at once

Change or pause is two taps from Today. Pausing stops weekly updates and milestone messages while your own reminders continue. Recording a loss asks nothing about why, stores no reason, and ends every celebratory notification, including your partner’s, the moment you continue. Your records stay on your phone in Pregnancy history unless you decide otherwise.

  • You never need to explain why
  • Keep, archive or delete your records: your choice, each a separate step
  • No reminders, review prompts or offers afterwards
  • Gentle mode for a pregnancy after a loss: milestone notifications off by default

Journal and memory book

Entries, photos and milestones, kept on your phone

PDF export and extra themes are part of NineMo Plus

The journal holds dated entries, photos and the milestones you choose to mark. Photos stay on your device; NineMo does not analyze or interpret images. The memory book gathers it all in order: the preview is free, and with NineMo Plus you can export it as a PDF to keep.

  • Journal entries are private, only you, and never part of any shared category
  • Memory book preview in the app, PDF export with Plus
  • Extra themes with Plus: Sunrise, Meadow and Tide
  • Lavender and Midnight (dark) stay free for everyone

And the small things that keep it calm

  • App lock

Fingerprint, face or device passcode, with a neutral screen in the app switcher. Required for sharing changes, export and delete.

  • Neutral notifications

Lock-screen previews say “You have a new reminder” by default. Detailed previews are opt-in.

  • Export and restore

Export everything to a file you keep, with an optional passphrase, and restore it on a new phone.

  • Visits in your calendar

Add an appointment to your phone’s calendar with a neutral title you can change.

  • When to seek help

A static, region-specific page with your local emergency number and your own care team’s phone, two taps from every screen.

  • Units and themes

Pounds or kilograms, inches or centimeters; larger text; Lavender or Midnight, free.

Who it’s for

Made for people who want the practical parts handled quietly

  • Expecting parents

One place for how you feel, what you want to ask and what is coming up, without a feed, a forum or a single ad.

  • Partners and support people

See the appointments, tasks and weekly updates you are invited to, and tick off what you take on.

  • After a loss

Pause or end updates in two taps, with nothing asked and every celebratory message stopped at once.

  • People who hate spreadsheets

Logging takes a few taps, and the visit summary writes itself from what you logged.

  • The privacy-minded

An encrypted database on your phone, guest mode with no account, and no tracking SDKs of any kind.

  • Anyone who dreads the visit

Saved questions, a counted summary of your entries and a PDF to hand over, so nothing is forgotten in the room.

Privacy

Private by architecture, not by promise

A pregnancy log is some of the most personal data there is. NineMo is built so that it does not need to leave your phone, and so that the server never needs to read it when it does.

FAQ

Questions people ask about NineMo

What is NineMo?

NineMo is a calm, private pregnancy organizer for iPhone and Android. You log how you feel, turn any entry into a question for your next visit, build an editable one-page summary to bring to your appointment, keep a plan with checklists, and share chosen parts with a partner. Your records stay on your phone in an encrypted database, there are no ads, and it works in 55 languages.

Is NineMo free?

Yes. Everything you need to log, prepare for visits and plan is free: the log, visits and questions, the visit summary and PDF, the plan, one partner, reminders, guest mode, app lock, export and delete, and the pause and loss controls. NineMo Plus is an optional subscription that adds the memory book PDF, extra themes and more support people. Prices are shown in the app.

What does NineMo Plus include?

NineMo Plus adds the memory book as a PDF you keep, three extra themes (Sunrise, Meadow and Tide; Lavender and Midnight stay free) and up to 3 more support people beyond the free partner. Nothing from the free core moves behind it, and if Plus lapses nothing is deleted. It is managed by the App Store or Google Play, where you can cancel or restore it; the price is shown in the app before you subscribe.

Does my data leave my phone?

Not unless you choose. Your records live in an encrypted database on your phone. There are no ads and no advertising, attribution or third-party analytics SDKs in the app. Nothing is shared with a partner until you invite them and pick what they see, and a summary leaves your phone only when you tap share and choose where it goes. If you create an account to share, shared items are end-to-end encrypted and the server stores only ciphertext.

Do I need an account?

No. You can use NineMo as a guest with no account, and guests write no health data to our servers at all. An account (Apple, Google or a verified email) is needed only to invite a partner, because sharing has to route encrypted items between two phones. Your records stay on your phone either way.

How does partner sharing work?

You invite one partner with a link or a typed code. Invites are single-use, work for 7 days and can be withdrawn until they are accepted. You choose what they see by category: weekly updates, appointments, tasks and shared notes. Symptoms, mood, journal entries and photos are always private and cannot be shared as a category; a single entry can be shared only by an explicit action on that entry. Before anything goes out you see a preview that is exactly what your partner will see. Shared items are end-to-end encrypted, and you can stop sharing at any time, immediately and without a notice to the partner.

What happens if I pause tracking or record a loss?

Pausing stops weekly updates, milestone messages and partner weekly updates; your own medication and visit reminders can keep running, and you can resume later. Recording a loss stops every celebratory message at once, including the partner’s, without asking why or storing a reason; your records stay on your phone in Pregnancy history unless you choose to archive or delete them, and the app sends no reminders, review prompts or offers afterwards. If you tell NineMo this is a pregnancy after a loss, gentle mode turns celebratory and milestone notifications off by default.

Does NineMo give medical advice?

No. NineMo is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It never interprets what you log: no scores, ranges, labels or predictions. It keeps your own entries, in your own words, and helps you bring them to the people who care for you. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health and your pregnancy. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Which languages does NineMo support?

The app is available in 55 languages, including right-to-left Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu. It follows your phone’s language by default and you can switch in Settings. Units (pounds or kilograms, inches or centimeters, fluid ounces or milliliters) follow your region and can be changed.

When can I download NineMo?

NineMo is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. This page will link to both stores the day it is available.
